Here's my Top Three Banks to patronize in Valdosta: Valdosta Educators Credit Union, Southeastern Credit Union, and First Federal. As I learn more about the good banks in our area, I will share more. Worst bank IMO is Bank of America, I was on conference call last night and there are 16 mortgage lenders nationwide that were ordered by Dept. of Justice to reimburse homeowners b/c of illegal foreclosures, in addition to currently leading the "shame o'meter" in national media regarding ugly policies that hurt customers and poor, Bank of America was on the DOJ list. Others in this list include Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, Metlife, Sovran, Suntrust, and US Bank. I will keep adding as I get more details.
